"EYES WIDE OPEN'' is a 145 page artist book focusing on high quality images of collage art by artist Magdaline Davis, along with a 500 word essay written by curator Kiara Cristina Ventura. Speaking on the icon, the collages within the book takes the viewers through a range of themes from the beauty of Blackness to spiritualism, sexuality, satire, and societal hierarchies.

Please join us for an intimate collage workshop led by Magdaline Davis, where participants will be guided through her collage making process. In this experience, participants will learn how to make a collage piece with a bold conceptual statement just like the pieces in the "Eyes Wide Open" book. There will music, refreshments, and lots of art supplies for everyone to enjoy. We hope that this event will be a space where everyone can connect over art making and leave inspired by the collage process.
